Tia-Clair Toomey is the most dominant CrossFit athlete of all time, with an inspiring journey that has captured hearts across the globe. Raised is Weipa, Queensland, Tia’s drive and determination have taken her from humble beginnings to smashing records and setting new standards in sport. She’s a Seven-time CrossFit Games champion, an Olympian, and a Commonwealth Games gold medallist - a true powerhouse in every sense.

Tia’s story started with a love for running and netball, but everything changed when she discovered CrossFit in 2013. Just two years later, she shocked the world by finishing second at the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games as a rookie, earning the title of Rookie of the Year. She backed it up with another second-place finish in 2016, proving she was here to stay.

But Tia’s athletic journey isn’t limited to CrossFit. In 2016, she became Australia’s top-ranked female weightlifter, qualifying for the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. There, she competed in the 58-kg category, snatching 82 kg (180.7 lb.) and clean-and-jerking 107 kg (235.8 lb.), placing 14th. And in 2018, she took home gold in Olympic weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games.

Tia’s achievements extend beyond traditional sports, too. In 2022, she qualified Australia for the two-man bobsleigh at the Winter Olympics in Beijing. No matter the challenge, Tia is the kind of athlete who rises to the occasion.

Tia isn’t slowing down anytime soon. In 2024, she jumped into the world of HYROX, a global fitness racing competition that combines running with functional fitness stations. Known for pushing her limits, Tia’s competitive spirit and training background make her a natural fit for this high-intensity sport. Her move into HYROX is just another example of her ability to dominate in any arena she sets her sights on. Whether it’s carrying sandbags, smashing out sled pushes, or conquering kilometres of running, Tia continues to show what’s possible when you pair hard work with an unshakable mindset.

Tia’s not just out there winning titles - she’s also empowering others to step out of their comfort zones and take on challenges. Through it all, Tia has balanced her training and competitions with business ventures. She’s the owner of PRVN Fitness, an online training platform, and PRVN Nashville, an affiliate gym she runs alongside her husband and coach, Shane Orr. Together, they’ve built a community focused on discipline, resilience, and chasing big goals.

Tia-Clair Toomey’s legacy isn’t just about medals - it’s about the impact she’s had on her community. Her drive, humility, and passion for helping others make her a true champion, on and off the competition floor. At LSKD, we’re so proud to have her in our corner and to share her journey with the world.
